Canada-based reggae artiste Lazah Current is gearing up for the discharge of his new single titled World Peace.
The Kingston-born singer says the tune was impressed by the continued Russia-Ukraine struggle.
“I find it hard to believe that we’re just recovering from a global pandemic and there’s a war going on between Russia and Ukraine. This is madness and it could lead to another world war. The leaders of the world need to do everything they can to bring this war to an end. We don’t need no more wars; what we need is peace, love, and harmony. We need a world devoid of war and violence,” stated Lazah Current.
Produced by Lazah Current for his Lazah Information imprint, World Peace is slated to be launched earlier than the top of this month. It should even be featured on his upcoming album titled Energy of the Folks which he plans to launch later this yr.
“At the moment I’m working with the Warrior Love band to complete my fourth album. I’ve recorded most of the songs already, we just have a few more to go. It’s going to be an awesome project,” he stated.
Lazah Current, given title Hal Duggan, is the previous lead singer of the award-winning reggae band, Messenjah. He’s recognized for songs similar to Energy To The Folks that includes Luciano and Betta Tomorrow.
