Ralph Hasenhuttl has reassured Southampton followers about the way forward for skipper James Ward-Prowse.
Ward-Prowse’s progress has caught the eye of main golf equipment, with Man Metropolis and Man Utd the newest to be linked, however Saints boss Hasenhuttl insists his captain has a long-term contract and can stay at St Mary’s.
“He has another four years on his contract,” Hasenhuttl stated, when requested about Ward-Prowse’s future.
“He’s comfortable right here. He’s our captain and he’ll keep right here.
“Followers love him and we all know how necessary he’s to our workforce. The event of his recreation is why he’s a real winner.
“I feel he’s very distinctive. I haven’t seen any gamers related.”
The midfielder at the moment has a contract till 2026 and earns round £100,000-a-week at Southampton.
