The pinnacle-on crash was reported about 3:30 a.m. simply east of Gilman Springs Street, the California Freeway Patrol mentioned.
In response to the CHP, a feminine driver was touring eastbound within the freeway’s westbound lanes at about 90 mph when her automobile collided with a Chevy Malibu.
The Malibu’s driver and passenger, each males, had been touring from Palm Springs to Pico Rivera on the time, investigators mentioned.

Each drivers had been pronounced lifeless on the scene, the Freeway Patrol mentioned. Their identities weren’t instantly launched.
The Malibu’s passenger was transported to a hospital with main accidents.
The 60 Freeway had been closed for development work and was reopened shortly earlier than the crash. All westbound lanes had been closed when emergency responders arrived on the scene.
